Cedric Brooks

Cedric Brooks- Clinical Therapist

Licensed Professional Counselor, MA, LLPC

My therapeutic approach includes meeting clients where they are and identifying internal strengths and resources to best approach life’s challenges. I have experience with depression, anxiety, substance abuse, and childhood trauma. Using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution Focused Therapy (SFT), I promote self-love and client growth.

My approach creates a safe, non-judgmental space for clients to heal and grow. I have a passion for working within Black and Brown communities, understanding that cultural differences bring unique experiences that need support and validation. I define therapy as working collaboratively with clients to address what negatively affects their quality of life. I look forward to supporting you on your path to mental wellness.

Isiah Nelson - LLPC Candidate

LLPC Candidate

Isiah Nelson is a LLPC Candidate who has been serving in the field for a little over a year. However, his work with youth and families stretches back nearly two decades, with five of those years spent as an HIV counselor. His journey into counseling and community work has been deeply influenced by his own experiences of personal hardship and grief, which shaped his strong sense of empathy and compassion.

Isiah is known for creating a safe and supportive space where clients can openly express themselves without fear of judgment or shame. He brings a person-centered approach to his practice, integrating Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and mindfulness. Depending on client interest, he often incorporates meditation and creative arts as part of the healing process.

He views counseling as a shared journey—an opportunity for both counselor and client to step outside of themselves, reflect, and grow. Isaiah has worked with individuals facing depression, anxiety, trauma, and a range of mental health challenges. His openness and adaptability allow him to connect with clients of all ages, races, and genders, meeting each person where they are and walking alongside them through their unique path of healing.
